Customized training was provided to FEMA at the client site for a group of 15 trainees. ST Net laid out the entire course setup and lab configuration upon detailed discussions with FEMA technical managers. Apart from Windows 2000 Active Directory Services training, the next two groups of 15 each were also training in Windows 2000 Professional (MS 2152) and Administration of SQL Server 2000 Database (MS 2072). NRC wanted to upgrade their existing clients from Windows NT to Windows XP Professional. NRC was using a Novell 4.11 server for all file, print and email services. Also a Microsoft Windows NT 4 Server was setup as an Application Server. Keeping the unique technical setup of NRC in mind, the training was designed to provide all Windows XP client computers with connection both a Novell 4.11 and MS Windows NT 4 Server. The training course was further tailored to incorporate the Novell NetWare Client Software for Windows XP. The 5-Day training was offered as a private, customized class and conducted at Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) provided classroom for a class size of 26. ST Net used our proven end-to-end integrated approach solution to respond to this training requirement permitting us to meet the diverse NRC end user community needs while satisfying NRC contract performance, within schedule, and at the lowest costs possible. The tailored NRC training approach, shown in the figure below, focused on tailoring the standard technical training to the NRC environment through our proven "custom teach" concept. This tailored training approach integrated the Microsoft Windows XP technology, the NRC users' physical environment and current NRC work processes. By using practical exercises honed to the NRC user work environment, training presentation was greatly enhanced, easily applied and more interesting to the NRC training population. Our life-cycle approach, shown in the figure below begins and ends with the NRC user, with our established training development and execution providing the tools to complete the course. Initially, we identified the training goals and requirements to address the "customer total training population." In the execution of this logical, life-cycle approach, ST Net also provided the necessary technical, management, and quality assurance processes coupled with the necessary support infrastructure to efficiently address the NRC training tasks and perform the necessary management oversight, and control as well as the unique reporting required by the NRC contract.

Technical Performance: ST Net training was well received by NRC training participants and ST Net received excellent ratings from the training attendees who participated in the NRC Microsoft Windows XP training instruction.
