ST Net, Inc. is a woman owned 8(a), SDB certified national provider of information technology services and training. Founded in 1998, and headquartered in Gaithersburg, MD.  ST Net was awarded 8(a) status in March 2004. In April, the company acquired the assets of ST Net, a 24-year old IT services provider and IT Training Center. The company has core competencies and excellent credentials in key areas of information technology, Network Engineering Services, Helpdesk Support Services, Security Engineering Services, Project Management Services, and Operations Support Services.  Core competencies include the following:

  • IT Outsourcing ­Orange provides a comprehensive set of IT staffing resources, including on-site or remote network engineers, system administrators, user support and helpdesk technicians/ management.
  • Helpdesk Support – Orange can provide everything from temporary staffing of an existing Helpdesk to full re-engineering, implementation and management. For DoD, ST Net has operated a Helpdesk that acts as a central point of contact for virtually all ADP services to over 5,000 users, using Remedy management software.
  • Network Support – Our capabilities include enterprise level network support services, including network consolidation, elimination of “stove-piping, server clustering, enterprise level system administration, testing and planning. ST Net has expertise in clustering, SANs and Citrix.
  • Daily Network Management & Monitoring Support – Using state-of-the-art tools like Remedy, HP OpenView, Tivoli, SMS, Ethereal and Exchange Monitor and other network management and monitoring tools, ST Net personnel can proactively monitor the health of customer networks and servers to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Electronic Mail System Administration and Technical Support –  ST Net can design, maintain and administer enterprise level messaging systems, such as Microsoft Exchange, with thousands of users, multiple remote locations, and huge global address lists.
  • User Support – Services include setup,  problem resolution, desktop integration and workstation LAN connectivity. ST Net also provides application support for products such as Microsoft Office as well as many proprietary COTS and GOTS customer applications.
  • Out-of-Hours Problem Resolution – ST net can provide a team of engineers who are “on call” after hours and on the weekend to respond to any emergencies that may arise outside of normal business hours.
  • End User & Technical/professional Training – The Technical Institute provides quality state-of-the-art training in over 100 different courses to end users as well as IT professionals and managers. Each of our instructors is certified and equipped with real-world experience. They spend time in the field working as engineers in addition to classroom teaching.
